the app/chromium browser doesn't beep when there is a hit

My speakers work perfectly for everything else, but when a place is available on the miq app, the app/browser doesn't beep!

I tried using @jooknon's link (see "Add a 'test sound' button #69"thread) and clicked on the beep button, but it doesn't beep most of the time and emits a very short and faint beep at other times.

I am using the 0.10.3 version of the miq app.

What settings do I have to make to let the miq app or browser beep?

I have the same issue. Already with 10.2 since beginning of this week, now with 10.3. Speakers work on other pages in Chrome, and any other application, but do not beep when a spot becomes available using the MIQ app.

Same issue here. I keep track of when dates have come up via Twitter notifications but I've missed spots because there's no beep. I'm sitting right by the laptop and volume is on max.

The Chromium browser doesn't beep when it is minimised. It only beeps when it is open on the screen.

Like most other users, I need to use the screen for other applications most of the time. Therefore, it is not practical for the browser not to beep when minimised.

Is there any possibility for a fix?

I appreciate that the programmers are providing this software to help fellow Kiwis for free. So, many thanks for your help!
