@karino has said that he'd be open to someone designing a logo for his Android notebook frontend interface, if anyone has time and is interested in working on this.

(I've asked him to change the logo as the current one combines the Jupyter logo with the Android one, which IIRC is against our guidelines)

It's not the only project that have issue.
It would be good to have a log that is explicitly for non-official related projects and that can be derived and reused without prior approval.

For example the Droid of android can be freely reused:

The green Android robot can be reproduced and/or modified as long as the following Creative Commons attribution line is included in the creative:

“The Android robot is reproduced or modified from work created and shared by Google and used according to terms described in the Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution License.”

(AFAICT)
