original version of PCBWay RGB Glow Tube DIY Clock

I bought my clock from PCBWay a little over a year ago. I see now that the "new version" of their clock requires an "app" to set the time, date and patterns. This was not the case when I bought mine. I am assuming that the clock I purchased probably does not have the hardware required to utilize your firmware, does it?
