It's a good question, I think the original idea is that it's for the project itself not the content of the site. api.jquery.com links to the core bug tracker as well instead of the api content.
@ajpiano thoughts on having a separate link for the content in the footer of these sites?
Shouldn't the "Bugs Issue Tracker" link in the footer of the API pages at this site:
http://api.jquerymobile.com/
refer to:
https://github.com/jquery/api.jquerymobile.com/issues
instead of:
https://github.com/jquery/jquery-mobile/issues
as it does now?
