As much as many developers hate to move and convert their code over to this, slash commands will really provide ease of use, and for the way my server is built, I want it to be as simple to use as possible as some of my members are new. I want to introduce them to the world of Discord and show them that they can do almost anything on Discord, including searching on Google!
I don't think this will just be a benefit for me, but for everyone else too. With of course the simplicity of use, it will involve less typing for us and honest that'd be awesome as I'd like to see that searching on Google in Discord is almost as fast as searching on Google in Chrome!

I would need rewrite a good chunk of the app in order to get it working with slash commands.
And that would also introduce limitations, as the user would not be able to simply use the aliases directly (unless I misunderstood slash commands; the documentation doesn't do a great job at explaining them).
I doubt I'll ever feel like going through the pain of moving to slash commands, specially given I barely use the bot myself.
It's likely I'll simply let the bot die once they deprecate the API the bot is currently using.
