nothing happeneds when i launch hidamari [Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon]

New linux user, was just transferring from windows and found hidamari as a replacement for wallpaper engine. i downloaded it using the software manager built to linux mint 21.3 Cinnamon. after i installed, i tried running it and nothing happened... i am unsure if this is normal or anything and if i done something wrong so i came to ask here.

I'm not familiar with Linux Mint (also Hidamari has only been tested on gnome mostly), and I'm not sure if it will work on Cinnamon as well or not. Are you running Cinnamon on wayland or x11 session?

Hey there, install it from Terminal, worked for me at least. The reason in my case was that when i tried to install it from the Software Manager this library was missing: org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/44 .
That was not the case via terminal. So type: flatpak install Hidamari . Then accept all the prompts.

EDIT: I suppose that you are logged in an X11 session, right?
