deferred deletion logic was being called from within upload. This logic is now moved to emitGen().

seeing this issue again with gen -c -f "notebook.pdf" -f "*.py" bla bla returning Error 403 PERMISSION_DENIED to a file identifier

From a reference inside .gen to a previously uploaded file which cannot be found on the second run. Remove .gen as workaround.
