Missing WhiteBox Blog #415

Hello Mary Ellen, I'm afraid that I took that blog down a while back now. The Wordpress page was attracting a lot of spammers and it ceased to be functional. I suppose I need to update the documentation to reflect that. I can answer any questions that you have about the impoundment index however. Regards, John |

Thank you John, I ran a small area that I am familiar with as I hike there at high resolution using a 1 meter Lidar DEM. The results surprised me, maybe this is not the tool for this task. I thought there would be a few obvious places for small dams to be built, but it looks more like stream paths. I do not know how to interpret the results. I also do not know what the units are, I am assuming they might be in units of the DEM cell size? If you think a different tool would be better I could try that. Thank you so much - I love your breaching tools and have been using them for years! |

May I have a copy of the old word press page? |

I'm sorry but I don't have a copy of the page. As for the tool, no, it's in the WhiteboxTools open-core, free for use. |

Dear Community,
I would like to learn how to use the impoundment size index, the manual did not provide enough information and the Blog is missing.
Does anyone know how to find missing reference materials?
Thank you, Mary Ellen
