travis-ci build broken

I just noticed the travis-ci build is broken.

Maybe it's time to switch from travis to github actions/workflow?

I'm guessing the 'build cancelled as it's ran for 24 hours' e-mail I received from Travis recently didn't help 😞

Having dug further into the situation, the plan had 10,000 credits which I assumed renewed on some basis but doesn't look like it does. The 10,000 credits were just a trial. I'll see what can be done in the short term but seems like GitHub actions is the logical solution.

I applied for OSS credits last night and we've been allocated 25,000 initially.
