kmscon support (themes dont look as described in tty)

i am on arch with systemd and no theme is being applied correctly the background is always black etc. i suspect this is because of TERM=linux i.e. only 16 colors but i am not sure how this is to be fixed

The default kernel's VT emulator doesn't support all those fancy ansi sequences and will lose quality. You can still get it full featured by using a framebuffer emulator on top of the TTYs like kmscon.

It's all explained in the expandible under the READMEs gif.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. with the suggested command in the readme i got the colors woking but now the font has a spacing issue and Hyprland crashes on launch so i had to revert

Busy thes days but if that's the case can we renane the issue to about proper kmscon (or similar support) or proper docs or something along those lines??

So it turns out the font issue was because i didn't have the particular font installed that was in the command and i had to put no-drm in my kms.conf file for hyprland to launch because i run on nvidia or smth and hyprland needs drm to run so if kmscon is using drm hyprland can't create the backend and crashes.
the only issue i have left is with the underlines in text which arent displayed consistently:

also for some reason if i press ctrl c in hyprland it closes and goes back to lidm maybe because kmscon exits so it retries
