Templates not installed

I installed django-appsettings with

pip install django-appsettings

Everything looked fine and I proceeded by following the documentation, but when trying to access the /appsettings/ URL, I get TemplateDoesNotExist: appsettings/index.html. Looking inside my virtualenv, I see that the templates haven't been installed at all.

Oh, it looks like I never released a new version with the fix for that. Could you try installing from git and verify that it works that way?

pip install -e git+https://github.com/jaredly/django-appsettings.git#egg=django-appsettings

Yes, the templates are now there after installing.
