How do i change the steam path? .desktop entries

Hello there, I was wondering how do i change the steam path, so that those .desktop entries are working properly? I searched through ~/.steam/ and found some interesting executable. I wonder if it's the correct one, so in my .desktop entry instead of
steam steam://something
it'll be
~/.steam/bin/steam steam://something
Will it work? I haven't tried it yes, cuz I don't like random errors popping up, so before I do so, I'd like to ask.

You need to have the appimage installed in PATH so that Exec=steam works.

Use AM for that. am -i steam or appman -i steam
