"Cannot send request: wrong discovery rule type" error

Hi, new to zabbix and attempting to monitor my mostly windows environment which includes a few hyper-v servers. I've followed all instructions for both the client and server side yet keep getting this error when trying to run discovery for any of the template items. What am I missing?

Same issue here on 2012R2 server Core.

Execution does not work for the active agent. But that doesn't mean the discovery isn't working properly.
If you realy have to use execute - change the discovery type to "agent" (without active).
