Ctrl + C does not pass through into the sidebar terminal

I occasionally need to interrupt an agent or stop a process with Ctrl + C. Ctrl + C does not seem to be passing through into the terminal, and has no effect.

The Ctrl + C problem has been fixed by 1.8.0, thank you. However, as a side effect, Ctrl + V seems to be also passing into the terminal the same way, making it impossible to paste text into the terminal (right click does not work either). This seems to be an even bigger problem especially for prompting. A reference behavior could be that of VSCode's native integrated terminal, where Ctrl+ C passes in, and Ctrl + V or right click executes clipboard paste from the host system. It might be helpful to look at their implementation, if it is easy to do so with the help of AI. Thank you for bringing to us this great extension!

Triage update: keeping this open as a terminal input regression tracker and labeling it as bug. Based on the comments, Ctrl+C itself appears fixed in 1.8.0, but follow-up reports mention Ctrl+V/right-click paste and scroll behavior regressions.

Suggested next step: verify paste and scroll behavior on the latest build. If paste is still broken independently from Ctrl+C, it should be split into a focused follow-up issue so this thread can stay about control-key pass-through.

Right-click/context-menu paste now goes through the same host paste bridge as keyboard paste, and regression coverage verifies Ctrl+V stays host-handled even when sendKeybindingsToShell is enabled.

Fixed and merged.\n\nRelevant changes:\n- PR #44 fixed terminal scroll/keyboard behavior and is merged.\n- PR #46 fixed paste routing: right-click/context-menu paste now uses the host paste bridge, and Ctrl+V remains host-handled even when sendKeybindingsToShell is enabled.\n- Final main verification passed: npm test, npm run compile, npm run compile:e2e, and npm run test:e2e.
