since Stepper Drivers have got XH 6 pin connectors and there are two types of cables , but none of them are using tyco MTA.
here are the corresponding pictures:
Stepper connector XH , with securing...:
Connector Dupont, does not have securing , jut like a jumper.
and the never beeing used MTA, with securing , compatible with dupont but without securing:
Also the footprint is getting bigger using 90 degree connectors.
just use the straight ones ....
i am using XH for all connectors on my RAMPS-FD also..... just because of the securing feature, the connectors wont get loose, but they are a little bit wider....JST XH 4 pin is about 12.4 mm width.
