How to annotate a co-reference?

I created a WebAnno classic linguistic project, import a txt file, after reading the doc, still cannot get it done.
I added 2 chunks in the chunk layer first, then drag&dropped in the coreference layer, but no change after mouseup as below:

Could someone share a step-by-step tutoral or even a video tutorial, pls?

There is no relation layer defined on chunks. Classic projects come with a coreference layer that you can use. However, note that currently functionality such as agreement calculation and curation do not work for chain layer such as the coreference layer.

I create a classic project and import a txt file, then annotate it on the coreference layer, drag a chunk to the other one, still no coreference created.

What's wrong with my operation? Could you pls attach some screenshots or even a short video?

I found I could add coreference with right-click "Link to...". Many thanks!
