Describe the bug
If your iPhone's time zone is set manually, it can cause problems when posting to iNat. The obseration is not posted.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. In your device's Settings, go to Date and Time and make sure your device's time zone is set manually. Change the time zone to one that is different from your current time zone.
  2. Photograph an organism with the Seek camera
  3. Attempt to post to iNat
  4. Attempt fails and you get this message, which you can't get rid of until you successfully post something to iNat.

Expected behavior
My device's time zone setting shouldn't impact upload to iNat.

Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: iPhone 13 Pro
  • OS: iOS 17.0.1
  • Version 2.15.30 (310)

Additional context
Add any other context about the problem here (i.e. what language are you using, do you have location settings turned on, did you have cell signal)

As far as I can tell this is iOS only. Also, sometimes the screen turns totally white when you tyr ot post to iNat, and you need to close and reopen the app.
