Search isn't finding taxon by hebrew name with vowels.. (nikud)

I've added the Hebrew name קַרְסִית מְצוּיָה to Badhamia affinis, and tested the search on iNaturalist app on iOS and could find it.
Only after I've added קרסית מצויה without vowels the search worked (and showed קַרְסִית מְצוּיָה - Badhamia affinis)

Happy to work on this, but I'm not sure I understand what's actually happening here. I don't speak Hebrew and while I know that Hebrew is sometimes written without vowels, I don't really understand how to reproduce your bug report.

Can you please provide detailed step by step reproduction steps (including mentioning which steps were done on the web and which steps were done on iOS) and ideally screenshots.

It works, the name גּוּשָׁנִית מַשְׁחִימָה is attached to Neat Bolete

searching for גושנית משחימה without vowels yields no result.. (It is the same word but only without vowels)

Maybe the issue is server-side.. I see now that it persists on web and iOS app..
