colorbox with ui-router & angular #1

I am using colorbox in my Angular project which works with ui-router.
When clicking on an anchor which is associated with colorbox(thumb image), the colorbox would appear fine(large image) but the browser location would change and is relocated to "/" for $urlRouterProvider.otherwise('/');
