"Virtual" Mixer outputs?

I'm using MSP to send outputs to a Raspberry PI Pico for additional functionality (pwm, LED's, etc). I can go into the mixer and setup servo mixes beyond what my board supports (i.e. other RC channels, GVAR's, etc), and those are output correctly via MSP to my Pico just fine. While all this works as desired, since those servos don't exist on my board, I'm getting an "ARMING_DISABLED_PWM_OUTPUT_ERROR". In the Outputs tab, the "Output" column shows a "-", so it knows that it isn't mapped to a real servo, but I'm still blocked from arming.
Any way of marking a servo as virtual, and/or overriding that PWM_OUTPUT_ERROR? Or maybe I'm just missing another way of doing this?

If you enable SBUS output you get 16 servos to play with, without getting PWM_OUTPUT_ERROR.

But won't those be straight from the transmitter? Or do those output the actual mixes? I'd like to use iNav for all my mixing, and not fall back to the transmitter.

If you set Sbus servo output in INAV, you get Sbus servo output from INAV. Not from the transmitter, or the receiver.

Got it. Looks like I just have to set "servo_protocol = SBUS" to unblock those outputs, but not actually change my Pico to read SBus. Seems that MSP still outputs the correct values either way.

There is also an option to do PWM and SBUS at the same time, if you also have servos connected directly to the fc. That will duplicate the first servo outputs, until you run out of pwm, but still allow you to go up to 16 outputs on sbus.

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing. CLI's autocomplete showed a SBUS_PWM option, which I assumed was an &&, and it worked perfectly.
