Will there be an equivalent of "Temporality" (in kmehr medication scheme) ?

cf. #76 (comment) in the kmehr medication scheme we have the attribute "temporality", that can be "chronic", "acute" and "oneshot".

Will/Is there be an equivalent concept in FHIR MedicationLine ?

If so, are there / will there be any business rules regarding the coherence between this attribute and begin- and enddates for a MedicationLine ? (in MedicationStatement.Effective ?).

We are currently struggling with the fact that Vitalink interop lab requires us to support a "chronic" medication with an endate, while in Medispring, the definition of a chronic medication is that it has no enddate ...

It doesn't seem to be described in the business document present on #216 .
From my understanding, Vitalink has that requirement mostly for the medication scheme PDF output, to print different labels in "Medicatie overzichtschema" aka "Global Medication Scheme" (so not the regular PDF output explained on their website).

As described in the KMEHR cookbook, temporality is optional and isn't bound to a given context : you are free to put a medication as chronic with/without a end date (or end condition). It was one of the test scenarios of Vitalink interop lab (IMEC) in the past : https://wiki.ivlab.ilabt.imec.be . A proper guideline would have been better

Unless new elements come up, I would follow @AlexisVZ-MDS and keep things simple : chronic medication has no end date.
