Improve catalog fallbacks

Describe the enhancement

The catalog command ensures that it can parse URLs correctly so that it will always display an "open in browser" button in the TUI (from what I'm able to gather about why this exists).

The behavior where someone can't use a catalog because they're going to miss out on that button is bad user experience. Adjust the behavior so that users simply miss out on the open in browser button, but can still use the catalog.

Additional context

Users frequently run into issues with support for different platforms, and it would be nice for any SSH URL to work out of the box.
