How to terminate running CREST run?

Happy New Year and thanks for developing xtb!

I recently had a CREST calculation running on a rather large system and it didn´t give me the results I expected.
Is there any way to stop the calcuation from continuing (with possible restart option)? In TURBOMOLE for example one can do touch stop to initiate termination.

I killed the overlying PID for the CREST process which worked somehow, but the PID was not directly visible with top. I had to use lsof on the invisible .nfsxxxxxxx file in the OPTIM folder.
