[Q] Graphite project small to medium installations

In #2418 it was stated that Graphite project target is small to medium installations. Basically I need a Graphite setup that support 1750 metrics/second with real time dashboard based on Grafana.

1- May I achieve this with a small/medium installations or you suggest a big install using Metrictank, Biggraphite or Clickhouse?
2- Is there benchmarking tools in the project that we could use to test our setup ?

1-2K points/s is not a lot, indeed. IMO using Clickhouse is a bit overkill for that. Unforunately, we have no benchmarking tools ready for Graphite.
