Describe the current behavior
When writing in an empty cell I can input several lines of text, however as soon as I need to edit something I wrote the text starts being duplicated. If I then select another row, for example, that row is also overwritten. I can then no longer remove text and cause further duplication.
Feels like being in Beatrix Lastrange Vault looking for the last Horcrux :)
Describe the expected behavior
Normal editing of text, just like I am doing here also using the same system (which proves the bug occurs only in colab)
What web browser you are using
Chrome, Android 14, Lenovo P12 tablet, desktop mode (also tried in standard mode same behaviour), I am using an external Bluetooth keyboard, tried with it off also same behaviour.
further context. I connected the bluetooth keyboard to my phone and used colab with no problem, however the onscreen keyboard stayed on all the time. I was able to remove lines as normal.
on lenovo same keyboard is detected (i think) as a proper external keyboard and it removes the on-screen keyboard when I type on the bluetooth.
I have also disabled corrections and stylus. having done that the issues reduced to only duplication when backspace is used. when it starts duplicating if I tap somewhere on another line it acts as if it selected entire line and pasted some copied text from previous line or sth.
however if I turn on the on-screen using the toolbar shortcut on screen and use backspace from the on-screen keyboard it works normally. (workaround).
Hopefully this helps you pinpoint what it could be, as it clearly related to tablet with stylus (now disabled) and external keyboard support.
