Background Execution Not Working

Describe the current behavior
I started running a deep learning model in my Colab notebook. I signed up for Pro+ today specifically for the background execution feature. Then I closed my MacBook and went on about my day. When I got back online, I saw that the process ended exactly at the point at which I shut my laptop.

Describe the expected behavior
I expected background execution to continue running the process.
