I'm not sure what changes were made in this version, but the internal player no longer works with the Live TV. If you're using Tivimate 5.1.0 and encountering this issue, you might want to either downgrade back to 5.0.4 or launch the live streams in an external player. More info here.

5.1.0 did introduce some new bugs related to how streams are handled I believe.
Changing the output format to HLS after setting up the playlist (using XC server) fixes the issue for me. I only see this issue when it is set to MPEG-TS (which is the default).
