PyCharm crash by Glean Python SDK

• Glean Python SDK: 0.7.0
• Python: 3.10
• OS: MacOS 15.1.1
• Chip: Apple M2 Max

Issue Report

When I loaded my project by PyCharm, the Glean Python SDK is somehow very heavy for the IDE to build index. It always lead the PyCharm slow down to respond for the type-in and then the IDE will crash.

May I know how to mitigate this issue or if it can be resolved?

@HaominJiang - Can you describe your setup a bit more? Are you using glean-api-client as a dependency or some other way? Is there any way for you to perhaps push up a small demo repo that I can clone and reproduce the issue in?

Hey, I am also having a similar issue too. I've attached a video to this issue show the before and after of PyCharms performance after I install the sdk.

From what I've been able to test so far it seems to only spike and freeze when the package is installed and I attempt to type any text. It does resolve itself after 30 seconds of being the unfocused window but as soon as I type again it locks up. Strangely I am able to highlight text without issue.

I also did test again after bumping the memory of the IDE to 16GB of ram and disabling all non-bundled plugins but saw the same behavior.
