Hi @rakleed! 👋 Thanks for taking the time to report this! It looks like the VS Code instructions are indeed outdated. The file that needs to be updated is For the Xcode part, it looks like there are indeed two ways to open Copilot Chat, so your suggestion is correct. You can add that to the procedure in this file: Regarding the screenshot, after reviewing the criteria outlined here, we agree that adding one would improve clarity. You can add the screenshot to the same file as the other Xcode suggestion. Outdated information about how to open chat in VS Code.
To open the chat view, click the chat icon in the activity bar or press Control+Command+i (Mac) / Ctrl+Alt+i (Windows/Linux).
It's now at the top next to the search bar.
For Xcode, there is no screenshot. Also, you can add information that chat can be opened from the menu bar by clicking on Editor > GitHub Copilot > Open chat.
Additional information
It seems like you take screenshots on Windows, but I don't have VS Code on it, so it would be nice if someone submitted PR.
