GPT sessions getting transient API error

Describe the bug

Since last week GPT based sessions are having problems with anything PLAN related features. Trying to create or update a PLAN is causing GPT models to error out with "Transient API error".

GPT models can still change code files though and also other models like Claude ones are not effected. Maybe it has something todo with the new GPT sessions are getting rubber-duck support feature?

Affected version

1.0.43, 1.0.44

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Switch to any GPT model
2. Switch to plan mode
3. Give it any task to plan

Hint: Our company has Claude Opus 4.7 disabled.

Expected behavior

GPT models can plan their task in plan mode

Additional context

Experimental mode is activated.

Okay so after some more testing i found out that experimental mode on or off makes no different and also that the problem seems to be todo anything in the session-states PLAN.md. GPT models cannot create, update or delete these for some reasons anymore.

okay its even worse than i thought, GPT models cannot even create a new git branch without erroring, please check it out what is happening there
