Hello, my first time using assistant, and I get this message:
"There was a problem authenticating with GitHub, please try again".
I've tried several times already... any other way to fix this?

I use linux: classroom-assistant_2.0.2_amd64

Then "You are being redirected to the authorized application.
If your browser does not redirect you back, please click here to continue."

No strange message on terminal.

Can you confirm that this is still happening? I am working on a new version and there were (potentially) some issues with Mac OS Big Sur.

Just used release 2.0.3 (currently latest) and experienced the same issue.

As OS, I am using kubuntu 20.04.02 LTS.

I just recognized that this is related to #186.

The fix suggested by @dranidis also worked for me kde. Obviously I also had to fix a mimetype setting (as described here)
