Question regarding license of the project #19

Hi,
First of all, I want to thank you for providing this awesome template! I recently used it for crafting a bunch of plugins.
However, I later noticed that this repository doesn't have an explicit license. As far as I understand, without a license, the project is "all rights reserved". Technically, this means that no one is allowed to use or modify the code.
If that is on purpose, I apologise for modifying your code! I will then immediately refactor the code base of my plugins...
Otherwise, is it possible to add an open-source license to this project?
