It would be nice to have a slanted tilda above full stop glyph available, used in early typography as an indication of a rhetorical rise or pause. See example here 4 lines up from the page end.

Better to use a font designed for medieval text - like Junicode. https://github.com/psb1558/Junicode-font
It already appears to have two variants of that glyph.
