Numerals : Opentype features (old style or lining figure)

Hello,

Using the font, I would like to change the numbering in a document according to the old style or lining figures (depending on the data in the text, whether it is mathematical or not)

However, in Microsoft Word, I find that the function is unusable, unlike other fonts (the option is greyed out) :

The limitation exists with both the ttf and otf versions.

Would it be possible to implement this feature in a future version?
