BitBucket repo #194
Comments
The issue isn't merely that the repository exists, I think the more serious issue is that the site to which the GitHub repository leads has a page called Development/Download. There is a section called "Downloading and using this font" which takes the user to the BitBucket repository. It's very misleading. |
The situation is this: when Github announced to discontinue file downloads, years ago, I didn’t know better (tbh I still don’t know how to simply host files for download here) and drew up the bitbucket repo with the perspective to migrate entirely. Eventually I didn’t migrate but merely mirror the github repo there and used bitbucket for hosting the downloads. It still holds the latest 0.016 release but I stopped mirroring and I will retire it but can’t tell yet, when. |
@georgd can you please edit the link on the page I mentioned? It doesn't lead us to latest files. |
What about SourceForge? |
Don't you have a zip file under "Release"?
There is no need for SourceForge. GitHub has a "Release" page, and he's already distributing a zip file with it, so I don't understand what the problem is .... |
The github "releases" feature is very suitable to providing download ZIPs, but also Github Pages. |
There is a BitBucket repo with the same username and the same project.
It is yours @georgd?
Should we consider it outdated? The latest release is dated 2014.
If so, can you archive it?
