Currently, the biolink-api for used by the GO is in need of an over cleaning/refactor to bring it into alignment with out best practices.

Considering whether or not to use a new API or web framework will be part of this process.

This ticket can be closed when the developers feel that the code is maintainable and can be extended for future development.
