A generic hierarchy management and listing tool

We need to provide a method for strict organizational layout, all of this needs a complete method to store the details and indices per organization, managing multiple institutes on multiple databases would result in higher maintenance over time, building a generic tool which can list down the hierarchy as required from current user to top up / down without showing "in-level" hierarchy would solve this purpose. This is similar to how the Organizational layout is implemented in Skype for business, we'd also need same level content so that we know the possibilities in case of lowering the assignment order of a particular issue
