Curious whether you would be interested in having alternative prayers to those in master/commonprayer added to a similar directory, in LDF? I am thinking it would be neat to include content from a few other sources than the BCP.

Let me know if this is something you could be open to.

Thanks!

The directory structure is a somewhat weird legacy of several projects that use this being in a monorepo. commonprayer is actually a distinct, unpublished experimental website that duplicates some of the app's content; adding things here won't add them to the app itself but can be a good place for experiments. Feel free to send a PR with prayers you'd like to see in the app and I can move them into the right locations eventually.

The main limits here are copyright-related; the BCP is public domain, but with other sources it may not be possible to distribute their content without permission.

Thanks @gbj I will keep that in mind! Out of curiosity where would be the correct place to put prayers?

Depends a lot on the kind of prayer. Are you looking at alternative options in the Prayers & Thanksgivings section? In that case, they live here and you can see the organization of the category field that matches the organization of that page/component in an example here

I have often supplemented with prayers from the anglican prayer book and also some new and ancient prayers published at the following website.

I will definitely look into any copyright issues and submit some of them if allowed. I do MP every morning with several people and they have really enjoyed the variation.
