Something like the functional/immutable structures used in Clojure could be used to avoid all of the copying done at https://github.com/garfieldnate/Weka_AnalogicalModeling/blob/master/src/main/java/weka/classifiers/lazy/AM/lattice/DistributedLattice.java#L242.
