I've made the update to the newest Version 1.1.28.0 and got the Error-Code 52 in the Sound FX Driver. There is this popup with something went wrong with your sound driver....

I've fully uninstalled everthing. Cleared the drivercache, uninstalled everything new, restarted my pc many times and still get this error.

Windows can't sign the driver signature bcz it's outdated, corrupt and so.

I've tried the Microsoft Store version, the latest version form the official website and the newest version from Github from the release page.

Still same error.

I have the newest windows updates and yes i've not installed the newest KB5050009 because it has this sound bug.

Now same error at new installation at old version 1.1.27.0.
Maybe Microsoft changed something in there code signing. IDK

System information

  • Windows version:
    Edition Windows 11 Pro
    Version 24H2
    Installed at ‎15.‎06.‎2024
    Build 26100.2605
    Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.36.0

  • Audio device: Realtek High Definition Audio Driver-Version: 6.0.1.6833

  • FxSound version: 1.1.28.0

Additional Notes
I've disabled driver signature in Windows Startup-Settings and now FXSound works just fine.
But this could not be the solution forever. There must be a better solution for that, but now it's fixed for me.

Can you go to fxvad.sys file properties and install the certificate,

I've installed everything but same problem. In Device Manager it says same error 52. So i need to disable driver signature after every restart, but then i can't use other programs which need driver signature.

After some research i have finally fixed it without the use of disabling the driver signature.

First i've used DriverStore Explorer (https://github.com/lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer/releases) to uninstall all drivers related to FXSound (every driver called fxvad) and there was an old driver installed too.
So there where two drivers.
I've uninstalled the old one with this software and in device manager i've uninstalled the new driver with the checkbox so it will force the uninstall.

Don't forget to restart after that!!!

After that i've went into the folder %PROGRAMFILES%\FxSound LLC\FxSound\Drivers\win10\x64 and opened a Command Prompt with Admin Privilegs and used this command: ./fxdevcon64.exe install fxvad.inf

And now it works just fine. The Error 52 for no driver signature is gone with this fix.
If anyone has the same problem then you can use my fix maybe it works for you too.

Thanks for everyone who tried to help
