Would like to set a break, say, every 40 mintues

Hi break-time coder....

I really like your Atom add-on... But I have a slight issue.

I set my break time for 11min, interval-count to 4 and MicroInterval to 40min.

I was under the impression that every 40mins there will be an 11 min break, which will happen 4 times per the interval count. But it's not happening. It's count all 4 interval before taking a break.

Can you add that functionality to take an 'X' min break every 'Y' amount of mins for 'Z' intervals?

Or am I using you application the wring way?

The microinterval setting has two purposes:

1. The status bar displays the current microinterval as a fraction, like 1/4, 2/4, ... if microinterval is set to 4.
2. The "clock" only starts a new microinterval when you actually do something in Atom. If your microinterval is set to something low, like 5 minutes, and you take a small unexpected break, the clock will stop at the end of the current microinterval and only start the next one if you press a button in atom.

In 'X' min break every 'Y' amount of mins for 'Z' intervals:

• X is the break duration setting
• Y is microinterval_duration * intervalcount
• Z cannot be represented here

If you want a break every 40 minutes, set microinterval to 10 minutes and intervalcount to 4.
The statusbar will then display 1/4 for the first 10 minutes, 2/4 for the next, etc.
