Dashboard Setup Status (BC-177)

Last Updated: 2026-03-19 Status: Code complete, awaiting credentials configuration

Infrastructure

  • KV namespace configured in wrangler.toml
    • Production: 5b4f4cc3f3b342c59eead588a5446ca8
    • Staging: 52c44a6e0d144e53a51c9cb4e9bcbbe0
  • R2 bucket for transcripts configured
  • Durable Objects bindings configured

Dashboard Features

  • Google OAuth authentication flow (src/auth.ts)
  • Session management (KV-backed, 24h TTL)
  • Dashboard UI (src/dashboard.html)
  • Real-time agent monitoring
  • Agent control API (kill individual, shutdown all)
  • Auto-refresh (30s interval)
  • Security: CSRF protection, HttpOnly cookies

⚠️ Awaiting Configuration

Google OAuth (Required for Dashboard)

What's needed:

  1. Google Cloud OAuth 2.0 Client ID
  2. Google Cloud OAuth 2.0 Client Secret
  3. Allowed email addresses for access

How to configure:

cd orchestrator

# Deploy

Setup steps:

Cloudflare AI Gateway (Optional but Recommended)

What's needed:

  1. Cloudflare AI Gateway created
  2. Account ID
  3. Gateway ID (slug)

How to configure:

🚀 Quick Start

Option 1: Automated Setup Script

cd /workspace/product-engineer

# Set environment
export WORKER_URL=https://product-engineer.YOUR_SUBDOMAIN.workers.dev
export API_KEY=your_api_key_here

# Run interactive setup
./scripts/complete-dashboard-setup.sh

The script will:

  • Check current configuration status
  • Guide you through Google OAuth setup
  • Configure AI Gateway (if credentials provided)
  • Optionally deploy for you

Option 2: Manual Setup

Check Current Settings

Check Secrets

Expected secrets:

  • GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID ✓ (if dashboard configured)
  • GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET ✓ (if dashboard configured)
  • ALLOWED_EMAILS ✓ (if dashboard configured)
  • API_KEY ✓ (required for admin API)
  • ANTHROPIC_API_KEY ✓ (required for agents)
  • SLACK_BOT_TOKEN ✓ (required for Slack integration)
  • SLACK_APP_TOKEN ✓ (required for Socket Mode)
  • WORKER_URL ✓ (required for event routing)

Test Dashboard

  1. Visit: https://product-engineer.YOUR_SUBDOMAIN.workers.dev/dashboard
  2. Should redirect to Google login
  3. After auth, should show agent dashboard
  4. No agents expected if none are running (that's OK)

Test AI Gateway

  1. Create a test Linear ticket or Slack mention
  2. Wait for agent to start processing
  3. Check Cloudflare Dashboard: AI > AI Gateway > [your gateway]
  4. Should see requests within 1-2 minutes

📋 Deployment Checklist

  • Set GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID secret
  • Set GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET secret
  • Set ALLOWED_EMAILS secret
  • Configure Google OAuth redirect URI in Cloud Console
  • Create Cloudflare AI Gateway
  • Configure AI Gateway settings via API
  • Deploy: cd orchestrator && wrangler deploy
  • Test dashboard access
  • Test Google login
  • Verify AI Gateway receives traffic
  • Take screenshots for BC-177
  • Update BC-177 Linear ticket

🛠️ What Can Be Automated

The following can be done programmatically with API access:

✅ Can automate:

  • Configuring AI Gateway settings (via /api/settings/cloudflare_ai_gateway)
  • Checking current configuration (via /api/settings)
  • Deployment (via wrangler deploy if credentials available)
  • Creating test agents to verify setup

❌ Cannot automate (requires user action):

  • Creating Google OAuth client (Google Cloud Console)
  • Creating Cloudflare AI Gateway (Cloudflare Dashboard)
  • Setting Cloudflare secrets (requires account authentication)
  • Adding OAuth redirect URI (Google Cloud Console)
