Open Data Hub (ODH) is an open source project that provides open source AI tools for running large and distributed AI workloads on the OpenShift Container Platform.
This issue is used to track the progress to integrate multi-nic-cni to Open Data Hub.
It is still unclear whether we can have multi-nic-nic integrated via sig-platform which network is not listed in scope or via the Kubeflow's manifests working group which seems to have more wider scope (integrate as contrib).
Components living under /contrib should satisfy some strict requirements to ensure they are always usable by end-users and contain complementary documentation.
These are the requirements for all components under /contrib:
There must be a README.md file that documents:
Instructions on how someone can install the component in a Kubeflow cluster
There must be an OWNERS file with at least 2 users
The component must work with the latest version of Kubeflow, and its dependencies
There must be an UPGRADE.md file that documents any instructions users need to follow
I was previously a core maintainer of Open Data Hub but have transitioned to a new role within Red Hat. @minmzzhang contacted me about this issue and I wanted to let you know that information in opendatahub-io/opendatahub-community is no longer relevant. The github/opendatahub-io organization is now the mid-stream for integration of various upstream components into the downstream Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) product.
