Parse library for data collected by form?

I am using form.IO and can easily get the collected data out of the stored json, but depending on the form component used it can be hard to get the data I need. Does anyone know if a library that would let me get clean strings out of the json?

Field components that are difficult to get data out of include Data Grid, select boxes, survey etc.

Can you elaborate a little bit? Submission data is JSON, what do you mean by "hard to get the data [you] need?"
