Briefly opening the channel list then going back to the chat doesn't reserve scroll position

Steps to reproduce

1. Scroll up in a chat
2. Quickly swipe to open the channel list
3. Quickly swipe back to the chat

Expected behaviour

The scroll position should be respected

Actual behaviour

The scroll position is reset to the latest message
