Wifi-bf is running. If you would like to see passwords being tested in realtime, enable the [--verbose] flag at start.
** KEY FOUND! **: password 'password' succeeded.

does not work at all

I've also encountered the same issue, trying to crack the password on my phone's hotspot, it tries with '1234567' which is too short and then goes to 'password' which fails

Is this issue resolved?
I am facing the same error.
Apparently this issue was there before as well and the authors claim to have fixed it.
Not really sure why this could be happening.
@kwyjibo-the-gringo what was your fix exactly?
