Make the landing page be both the login and a basic mini experiment

Currently the landing page does not have a log in form it's a separate page. We will merge the two and put an optional basic introduction mini experiment on the side.

We updated the landing page to look to our liking, the only thing that we need to add to the page is the login form. Earlier in the project, I was able to make a really basic login page, however when we decide to make the landing page both mini experiment and the login page, we ran into a bit of trouble as we had to make our own authentication view function as we could no longer use Djangos authentication function.
