Why is npm start command soo slow??????

Is there a specific reason that my npm start command is slow?
Are there any settings to make this process faster?
Like I have 8GB ram and intel i7 processor and a nvidea graphics card too, I don't thinks that there is any problem with my hardware.
If anyone could help then it is much appreciated, thanks!

It takes like 10mins to start the app and host it locally smh....can anyone suggest any fixes or changes in settings?

Maybe your net speed is not enough for npm installing.

You can use "yarn" command for node module.

I have installed the react app... It installed within seconds coz I have high speed internet. But the issue is with starting with the app.... It takes like 10-15 mins to start the app when I run npm start in the terminal. I don't know how to speed the process up.... I used VITE to create, run, build the react app and it worked out pretty fine and it compiles and runs within 500ms.....

But if you have a solution to run the app faster using the normal npm start then please do tell.... Thanks

Nope, there is no solution to that speed unless you change all the configs and stuff. CRA is slow since it comes with all extra features that aren't required, i.e., service works, testing, uses Webpack and etc. Vite doesn't include these extra features, but you can add them by downloading the packages. ANDDDD ESBUILD GOES BRRRRR.

they need to boot up even if you aren't gonna use them.
