Update the examples?

Most of the examples use the var keyword and other old stuff why not update them to use the latest that js has to offer.

@iulian12h The reason you see that is for compatibility as Express supports older versions of Node.js as well.

Pretty much. Right now the examples are in the main repo and tied in to the test suite. This means that they would have the same Node.js support as Express itself. There was an idea tossed around to move them outside of the repo so they could be more stand alone, but then the discovery of the examples was unclear.

Personally I don't have much a preferemce; only if the examples are moved out of the main repo we get more direct tests added to the suite to cover what the examples were.
