No Status Field in the Claims Object

Based on the documentation found in https://docs.etherisc.com/gif/gif-monitor, the Claims Object should have a status field, which additionally can be updated between possible claim states: Possible claim states are ‘Applied,’ ‘Confirmed,’ ‘Declined’ and ‘Payout.’

GIF and Crops contracts used for eSusFarm are all based on GIV V3. The GIF monitor has not yet been adjusted to cover the latest GIF Version so far.

With GIF V3 every object stored in smart contacts also comes with meta data [1] that is stored separately.

The objectType refers to the type of the object, like policy, claim or payout and others, the state field represents the status you have mentioned above.

Given the ID of the policy, claim, payout you may query the state of the object via the getPolicyState(), getClaimState(), getPayoutState() functiona of the InstanceReader contract [2].
